The Herring Skiff is a 12 foot outboard skiff with a slight v bottom, built using the stitch and glue method. The free plans, by Ira Einsteen, "disappeared" some time ago, so I'm putting them up here for people to download.
The plans consist of a zip file containing pictures and a text file with instructions. I was recently contacted by a gentleman named Marc Thorne, who has formatted them nicely as an MSWord document (.docx). Both files are available below.
I don't know much about the design, but I was contacted by someone who had built one years ago and was looking for the plans to build another. So it can't be too bad!
